My name is Eliza Gauger. I am a mercenary artist, gonzo blogger, and freelance enthusiast.
You can find me at Twitter, MySpace, Flickr, and LiveJournal.
I sell prints of my artwork. Prints are $35, 8.5×11″, full color, on professional matte photo paper. Other sizes can probably be arranged. I will be postponing any further print shipments until next month.
Unhallowed Metropolis, a steampunk-horror RPG set in a grim future London, is almost complete. I did quite a few of the illustrations for this book, including photography, photomanipulation, and drawing/painting. It should launch at this year’s GenCon. I have been asked to art direct a few of the future installments and expansions, and gave a tentative yes.
The Bee Commission went up at Glo’s Cafe on Capital Hill (Seattle), was up long enough to deeply offend the establishment’s owner, and was taken down again. Awesome.
Eliza Gauger: Collected Works has been taken down after a successful run at Lighthouse Roasters in Fremont (Seattle).
Table of Malcontents is being gassed by Wired. You have until June 30th to enjoy the gutted, stinking remains of what was, briefly, the absolute only source of steampunk hentai you would ever need. A moment of silence, please. Followed by a moment of gurgling screams.
Sorry to hear about ToM. Now where will I get my Cthulhu/Kenneth Eng/Steampunk news?
Wait… NO more ToM???? WTF? Why, WIRED, Why??????? I want an explanation. This is really sorta depressing. ToM was one of the best ways to get through my workday/poke around the more interesting artistic stylings on the internets.
No! I love you guys :(
Is there anything we can do? Some massive groundswell of support, rising like Cthulhu from the deeps?
I can’t believe it. I’m gutted.
The permalinks load so slow, but god damn it’s worth it.
Seriously ridiculous. ToM’s the only bit of Wired that I care to subscribe to. What in R’lyeh are they thinking? Did they mention a reason?
Is there anywhere that we can lodge a formal complaint?
